Benihana – a lovely London Japanese restaurant with a kid’s menu (only at the Swiss cottage restaurant). The food is really fresh, although pricey, and the children will love to watch the chefs in action as they show off their craftsmanship to their young (and old) fans. Sam’s Brasserie & Bar – caters for everything from a light snack to a three-course meal. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner and are open all day every day.  The staff are ridiculously friendly and in addition to their inexpensive kid’s menu is a very handy play area by the entrance. Julie’s – the ultimate in child friendly. Aside from its great menu and delicious dishes, it has a crèche. Yes, a Sunday lunchtime crèche for kids aged 2 years – 12 years old. The Belvedere – this Marco Pierre White restaurant is a mix of British and French cuisine on a brasserie-style menu. This is a really great restaurant for families who like upmarket food. It has a tasty kids menu (£11-14), buzzing atmosphere (so the kids can’t be heard over the noise), friendly staff and great food, not to mention its enviable location – slap bang in the middle of Holland Park – so the children can burn of some energy in the playground after their meal. Bodean’s – a delicious award-winning chain of American diners situated all over London serving smoking hot BBQ’ed food which is sure to be a hit with the kids and their parents (bring wipes). After wolfing down their food, kids are invited to hang out in the “den”(a TV room) to watch kids’ movies, leaving their parents to tuck into the juicy ribs, mouth-watering nachos and calorie-saturated chicken wings on offer.
