It really depends on your skills. If you've worked in IT or if you could do any internet or content-related work, than odesk might be a good option for you. There are plenty of websites like that, but odesk is the most popular and thus reputable. If you're the artsy-fartsy type, that handmade may be a good option. It won't make you a fortune probably, but will help to pay the bills.

Great ideas above - i know all those businesses and they are great fun and legitimate too...always a worry when signing up to any DS company. I wanted to recommend the one i finally settled on - due to a crazy love of candles and the expense killing me weekly. I came across Scentsy which is new in the UK. We sell child safe candles and fragranced candles that dont use a flame, as well as gifts. x

I found an article which is about a mum of two kids who started a website to connect employers offering part-time job with mothers willing to work. I think it is just an amazing idea! Here's the link http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2015/10/07/2to3-days-mum-launches-website-part-time-roles_n_8232758.html?utm_hp_ref=uk-parents&ir=UK+Parents

Might be useful.

Great idea, Enola! I was thinking about starting my blog. I know there are alot oа great mummy blogs in the UK already but I was thinking to specify the area of my future blog. For example, I'm the big fan of cooking. So maybe my blog will be about child nutrition.. What do you think?
