Dear parents, what makes an AWESOME personal tutor?

Hey everyone

My name is Raluca, I've been a personal tutor for a year, while studying for my masters at LSE, and now I'm starting off as a freelance researcher; carrying out a project for a company called Positive Edge.

This is why, if you've ever used private tutoring or private lessons of any kind for your child, I'm hoping you would be willing to join in our debate and tell us (by replying to this thread): what do you think makes an AWESOME personal tutor? What were your best and worst experiences? What do you wish your child's tutor did or didn't do?
