Quote: #51 Myranda 29 March 2013, 12:54I read he should start standing up at about 9 months, he's 10 now and does not show any desire to stand, he crawls ok but won't stand. What age did your little one stand?

Every child is a bit different and it is still normal, just give him some time :)

My DS stood up with support around 10 months and could stand on his own when he was 11 ms. My niece, however, started standing up with support when she was almost a year. It's a good idead to just give it time

My son could stand for a few seconds without holding anything when he just turned 8 months old. He bent her knees a bit--like a slight squat--to help his balance. He was wobbly and only last 2-5 seconds each time and then he had to grasp back onto whatever he was holding. It was amazing to see your kid trying to stand for the very first time!
