reusable or disposable nappies?

What do you prefer?  reusable cloth nappies sound to be safer and cheaper but I am still preganant with my first and thus have no experience with this. Trying to make a research while I still can))) any thoughts?

I prefer reusables, they are much cheaper in the long run, the huge disatvantage is they absorb less..

Disposable work better for me. It's too much work with the reusables like washing them...

I think the best way is to use disposables for the first few months and then switch to reusables.
