Hi all, I'm looking for some recent info on this hospital. my GP told me most of the women from my surgery give birth at Royal London. I've heard some bad stuff about the place. So do I need to transfer? Anyone have recent experience with Royal London?

I haven't been round the maternity ward at the royal london but I will be transferred there if there is a problem. I will be giving birth at the Barkentine. Is it really that bad? I was under the impression the hospital was one of the best in London...

I went on a tour of the Royal and it wasn't bad. I haven't heard anything bad about medical things about the place, but there were some bad revews about the post-natal care and the general tattiness of the place. As far as I can say it is pretty pasable, nothing to worry about

Hi. It's been 2 yrs ago, but I'm pretty sure the midwives who worked there are still on staff.. well, all I can say is that was a good thing I got to the RLH, the staff at the maternity ward was just great... The food and overall postnatal care was not perfect though...
