Our favourite new children's books

Hey everyone!

I'm new to the forum but I loved reading through all the posts so I thought it would be nice to contribute 

I'm always in search of new books for my 2 sons and daughter who love reading and I want to make sure they're reading the right things. Does anyone have any suggestions on good children's books that are just out now? 

To start us off, here are a few of my kids favourite ones so far:

My newhep is crazy about "The Maze Runner", although he might be a little to young for this book.

Mine also loves "Diary of a Whimpy Kid"! He's also liked
- Explorer: The Mystery Boxes by Kazu Kibuishi
- The Diamond of Darkfold by Jeanne DuPrau
- The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster
and Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer.

I've read some of these myself
