Present ideas for a 4 year old

I am vising a friend this weekend, she has a 4 year old boy. I thought I'd bring him some token present but I'm completely blank with the ideas. I know nothing about 4 year old boys and last time I saw him he was 1, so I don't know what he's into. Please help!

You could try one of those big cars for kids? All the boys LOVE them! Or if you think he is too big for it, you can give him a bike.
