Irene, remember that this time will pass, and you won't feel this couple months later. I've had the same feeling after my baby was born, but now that he's older I feel so much happier. It's just the hormones, so you can't really do anything about it. Only wait till it will pass.

If you have the same goal (getting pregnant), then this shouldn't be a problem. No offence, but he may not be as eager to have a baby as you are.

Dealing with a climber can be challenging. To discourage his climbing, be sure that his mattress is at the lowest possible setting, remove all toys in the crib that he can use to help climb, and remove the coffee table. Put a bunch of pillows or cushions around the crib in case he does fall.  In addition, try to catch him the moment he starts climbing and say, “No climbing!”  Many kids will give up rather quickly.   If you are going to consider letting him roam, lower or remove one side of the crib rather than switching him to a bed.  Please note that crib tents, which we used to recommend to keep little ones snug in their cribs, were recently discontinued because of safety concerns.

Part way through it has a list of the various schools, how many applied (as has been mentioned, not necessarily as first preference) and crucially what the furthest distance admitted was, presumably once siblings/children in care etc have all been accounted for.

Some private nurseries let you take the 15 hours over two days so the top up isn't quite so high (DD2's nursery in Woolwich did this)

Personally I was really impressed with the school site and with the headteacher - I found her quite inspiring.

I understand that you have to live on one of the 'bird roads' to get in  Don't be put off by the fall from Outstanding to Good. This has been very typical and some Outstanding schools have fallen further. The way that schools are assessed has been changed over recent years so it is truly exceptional to be Outstanding.

Here are the tips I used when my baby boy wouldn't let me sleep:

If you have no health conditions or pregnancy complications, and have your heart set on giving birth in a birth center or at home, you'll want to find a midwife who practices these things. In other cases, you probably should go with the traditional birth at the hospital.

I don't know, I heard some not really good comments about a teacher there. Couldn't say which one, but hey, that's one teacher. Doesn't mean they're all like that.

We had a lot of our nephews' clothes, but most of our things came from Marks and Spencer and Debenhams. I bought online only once - from Etsy.com. Handmade christmas costume was just too irresistible:)

From what I heard the best primaries are super-selective. Langley gets amazing reviews as well as Newstead. Hayes or West Wickham also seem to be great, my cousins used to go there. But they are much cheaper than Langley of Newstead.

Начну с нашей последней поездки - Tilbury Fort. Очень познавательно и интересно, ездили большой кампанией с детьми разного возраста (от 3х до 15ти), понравилось абсолютно всем! Форт этот был построен в 16м веке и использовался по назначению аж до второй мировой. Там множество пушек, катакомб, есть музей с интиресными экспонатами. Вид оттуда потрясающий и от Лондона ехать не далеко. Цена доступная (£12.20 за семейный билет). Время от времени там проводят historical reenactment. Всем рекомендую!

We may have to move to Islington next year so I am looking into schools in case we do move. Can anyone recommend something? I read good things about Highbury Grove and Highbury Fields schools. Does anyone have kids there?
