St Peter's Nursery is a community nursery that offers accessible nursery education on a not-for-profit basis

By providing a happy, caring, secure environment, we at St Peter's aim to ensure children's first experience of learning away from their home is both positive and fun. Our belief is that children should feel emotionally secure and develop a positive self image. Learning through play enhances this and gives a firm foundation for life-long learning.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage which is a play-based framework that puts the child at the centre of his/her learning. Our activities are based on the six areas of learning and development:
